are lost of questions you may have and hopefully we have answered
them for you. If there's something we haven't covered then email
us or call us on 029 20 37 37 07and we'll be happy
to deal with any query you may have.
Q.
What are your opening times?
A. We are open 7 days
a week from 10am til midnight 362 days a year.
Q.
Can we hire equipment for our rehearsal?
A. We have a good selection of drum kits and amplifiers available.
This needs to be pre-booked so that we can get it ready for you
prior to arrival so that you can maximise your rehearsal time.
Q.
Do we get a PA with the price?
A. Yes, each room comes with a vocal PA and as many microphones
and stands as you require.
Q.
Do you have set times?
A. No, we charge by the hour although, because Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday evenings are our busiest times we have sessions that
finish at 9pm and then the next session starts at 9pm. We do run
a waiting/cancellations list. If you let us know what sessions you
require, we give you a call the moment the booking becomes available.
There's no obligation to take it.
Q.
Does our session time include setting up and packing away?
A. Yes. Bands need to vacate the room promptly so that the next
band get their full allocated time.
Q.
What is your cancellation policy?
A. The following cancellation policy applies:
•
Standard Booking - 48 hours notice;
• Regular Booking (def. a booking or bookings
that take place on a weekly basis)- 48 hours notice;
• Block Booking (def. a booking that takes
place on consecutive days) – 4 days notice for 2 days booking,
6 day notice for a booking of 3 or more days;
• Lock Out (def. a room that is booked from
open til close for 1 or more days) – 1-2 days requires 4 days
notice, 3 or more days requires 6 days notice.
Cancellation
fees will be wavered in the following circumstances:-
•
If a replacement session is rearranged within 3 days of the cancelled
session;
• If a session is arranged at short notice (within 2 days
of it taking place) and then cancelled;
Sessions
of over 4 hours in length that the client wishes to reduce also
require the standard 48 hours notice. Failure to do so will result
in the full cost of the session being owed regardless of the time
used.
All
cancellation notice times are counted back from the start of the
session or first session if a block blocking.
Q.
Do you have parking?
A. Yes. We have ample parking for lots of types of vehicles.
Q.
What is the access like?
A. Our studios are all on the ground floor making load in and out
very easy. We have trolleys available to assist you in transporting
your gear from your vehicle to your room. Access for disabled customers
is equally as easy.
Q.
Is there a member of staff on hand to help with any problems?
A. Yes. There is always a member staff available to help with anything
from a 4 way required to helping with broken equipment. Musicbox
is fully staffed at all times.
Q.
Can I make a cup of tea?
A. Yes you can. We have a tuck shop which is always open with various
hot drinks, cold drinks, soup, chocs and crisps. We are always updating
our stock and looking to make improvements so if there is anything
you think we should stock please let us know and we will see what
we can do
Q.
Can we smoke in the rooms or the rest of the building?
A. NO!!! The laws that govern smoking in public places applies to
studios as well. Anyone suspected or caught smoking in the rooms
will be asked to leave.
Q.
Are you a record label?
A. NO!!! That game is left to people with money to burn.
Q.
Will you manage my band?
A. NO!!! We don't currently manage bands as most have nothing to
manage but we're full of useless advice that we are happy to bore
you with free of charge.
